If you love spending time on Facebook and would like to work from home, here are some remote Facebook jobs and money making opportunities as well as scams you should know about.
1. Social Media Evaluation Jobs
Similar to a search engine evaluator or ad evaluator, in this role you will log into social media sites such as Facebook to search for keywords and terms based on quality and relevance. But before you start, you have to pass an online assessment test, which I hear is pretty tough. For these roles, you must be detail-oriented, technically proficient and aware of current trends. You can apply for these remote jobs at App, Digital TELUSand Welocalize. In these positions, you will work as an independent contractor, but your hours are flexible. These companies hire workers from all over the world.
2. Facebook Ads Manager
If you’ve figured out the key to effective Facebook ads, there are plenty of business owners who will pay you handsomely to run and manage their Facebook ads. These positions are sometimes called paid media specialists or digital advertising specialists. You can find these remote jobs on sites like FlexJobs, Brofton, ISEAand Raptive.
Another way to work as a Facebook ad manager is to start your own Facebook ad management agency from home. If you’re not sure where to start, Bobby Hoyt created a course called Facebook Side Hustlewhich teaches you how to manage Facebook ads for small business owners. While I haven’t taken or reviewed the course myself, it was highly recommended by my friend Kristin Believe in the budget.
3. Moderator of social networks
As a Facebook moderator, you will oversee Facebook groups and pages to ensure that group rules are followed, questions are answered, and spammers are kept at bay. In this role, you will not be working directly for Facebook; instead, you’ll work for business owners and bloggers who need help with their Facebook pages and groups.

5. Become a Facebook influencer
If you are a content creator who likes to create unique content online, Facebook has many options for you to monetize your influence.
It currently has Facebook five in-house methods for monetizing your content:
- InStream Video Ads
- Instant articles
- Fan subscription
- Collaborate with brands
- Live Video (Earn Stars)
- Bonuses
To make money using these methods, you’ll need an established brand or business Facebook page. Each monetization method has certain criteria that you must meet in order to apply to the program, but once you meet these milestones, it’s easy to use. I’m not sure how they choose who gets into each program; I was eligible for the bonuses and signed up but haven’t earned anything yet. I’m not very active on Facebook either.
You can also monetize your influence on Facebook affiliate marketingor you can sell your own products on Facebook. Whatever you want to create branded merch or sell printed mattereBooks, courses or services, there are many ways to monetize your Facebook audience Facebook Commerce and Facebook meetings.
6. Remote Facebook Jobs
If you want to work as a Facebook employee, they have many remote jobs, full-time positions, and internships that you can apply for! Facebook hires remote employees from the US, Canada, Europe, India and Brazil, and most positions are location dependent.
To find new jobs on their site, select search inputs that say location, then select remote. Facebook is hiring in many different career fields such as AI, ad tech, business development, communications, data, design, engineering, finance, law, operations, people, research, sales, marketing, interns, VR and more!
If you do not find a relevant occupation in their current selection of vacancies, you can also create a Career profile where you can create personalized job alerts, get job suggestions, complete coding puzzles and view interview schedules.
For non-remote employees, Facebook has a hybrid work model where personal employees get to work from home three days a week. It also sounds like most managers are pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling. Meta is an equal opportunity employer and sponsor of military spouses and veterans mentoring programs and others.
In addition to telecommuting, Meta offers many benefits to its employees, including health and wellness plans, paid family leave, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, fairness, salary transparency and more!

Beware of scams
Of course, since so many people want to work for Facebook, scammers like to take advantage of this eagerness to advertise fake jobs on Facebook. On Fraud detectorhe mentions two, one is “Facebook Fortunes Home Income Flow” and the other is “Facebook Bonanza”.
With these, when you click the apply button, you’ll be taken to a landing page where you’ll need to enter your credit card information to get your starter kit. That’s right Easy Google Profits Scam which ran rampant a few years ago. Once they get your credit card information, your account will be charged monthly for the false information.
Other employment fraud you need to beware of scammers pretending to be Facebook recruitment team. With this type of scam, you may receive an email, text message, or phone call saying that Facebook wants to interview you for a remote job. It’s not Facebook though. It’s a scammer pretending to be Facebook. Legitimate companies don’t use free email accounts like Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo, and they don’t conduct interviews on third-party messaging apps like Telegram, Signal, and WhatsApp.
When you’re not sure if a job is legit or not, take the time to thoroughly research the opportunity. Check out websites like A better business office and Glassdoor.com — can offer you a wealth of information. If a recruiter contacts you, verify their identity on LinkedIn. You should also keep track of all your applications so you know whether you’ve applied for a job or not.
